Ripley's Believe It or Not Auditorium in Gatlinburg

Ripley's Believe It or Not Auditorium is one of the many successful museums that Ripley's own around the country. It was first built in 1970 by Douglas Schnittker and then was destroyed by a massive fire in 1992. The museum was then rebuilt and reopened in 1994. The new building has nearly twice the amount of exhibit space as the original. The exterior is amazing and features cracks in the walls. Also the interior is featuring cracks throughout the museum.

This is not just an Auditorium, it actually has some of the world's greatest records, it has a huge grizzly bear made entirely of wicker, it showcases the world's tallest man, you will find many exhibits from shrunken heads, civil war bullets, two headed cows, George Washington's hair as well as a holographic Ripley.

The kids would certainly enjoy the interactive games that are offered. If you are a history buff then you would really find a treat at Ripley's Believe It or Not museum.

You can also get your hand dipped in wax to make a nice souvenir.
